The Twan and Bergy Show

Just got back from a lil Mancation to here. Thats me with my buddy Gibby standing on the 18th tee of Sea Pines Resort.

Played 108 holes of golf on some of the best courses on the east coast including Harbour Town, where the pro’s play the Verizon heritage Classic in April.  Had an great time with some good buds and hope to go back next year.  Most of the week was a treat from my good buddy Rob Slavin, he own Cobie’s Restaurant out on Cape Cod, in the town of Brewster, a very generous guy and a good friend.  For those of you who don’t take mancations, you don’t know what you are missing.  A little time to unwide with the boys, drink till you fall over without being nagged and stare at skirt without getting the “fuck you” look from the wife, fellas, we’re married, NOT DEAD.  We all need em, and those NOT taking them are cheating yourselves out of the some good things in life. Here endeth the lesson.

Something tells me this mountain laurel in my front yard would rather NOT be frozen.  Not that I’m counting or anything but…32 days till spring…what happens in spring?  GOLF.  Enough said.  Winter tried this year, but just couldn’t hang with my boy El Nino….you loose Mr. Winter.

Well, right now I’m into my 2nd Captain and Coke to try and forget my suck job.  I work from home on friday’s just so I can fake myself into thinking I don’t have a suck job, today it didn’t work.  I hate the company I contract for, the work bores me, the subject matter is KILLING me.  I’m stuck in a career rut and need to figure out what I want, other than this…in a hurry.

Hopefully a new cast this weekend.  Hopefully Bergy will join in…who knows.

If you guys havn’t figured out yet, I’m a graphic designer by trade. What? You really thought I was a pro-podcaster? Well I’m sorry to bust your bubble on that one. ;)  Anyway, from time-to-time, as a designer, I, well I should say we, designers collectively, get asked by people we know or are aquainted with or by someone one of our aquaintences knows, to work on a design project for free. Still working out the kinks, still waiting to get Bergy down to the stu-stu-studio, if you don’t know that music reference, your too young to be listening!  Just kidding of course.  Its a Twan alone Show today with Twan testing some new software, Podcast Station.  I really liked it and will probably purchase it next pay cycle.  It sucks that I paid for Castbalster and am not satisfied with it, we’ll see, maybe I’ll give it one more try before shit canning it.
